14th MAY- NADEEM DALVI GETS ENGLAND CALL UP- Nadeem has been selected to get his first cap for England in the Sudirman Cup in China starting on Sunday 14th. He has been selected to play against Japan.

30th OCTOBER - NORTHANTS SENIOR RESTRICTED - Bhavika Mistry won GOLD in GD and SILVER in MXD. Cameron Maywood playing his first tournament since coming back, came second in his group in the MD.

29th OCTOBER - DORSET SENIOR SILVER - Senula Sumanasuriya played his first ever Silver Senior tournament with his grading now going up. He lost both of the matches in his group, but it was a great experience.

23rd OCTOBER - HERTS U18 RESTRICTED -Katie Savage had a great tournament winning a BRONZE in the GS & MXD and SILVER in the GD. Lucy won GOLD in the GD winning all of her matches.

22nd OCTOBER - SANKEY ACADEMY U19 SILVER - Yash Singh wins a fantastic BRONZE in the BS. Yash beat the in form Kalyan Monaj 21-14 21-19 and James Vincent 21-10 21-9 in his group. Then in the Last 16 beat Rafael Cresdee 21-19 21-17. In the quarters beat Lawrence Chen 21-10 21-11. In the semis Yash lost to the eventual winner Aarav Sujith 11-21 19-21. In the doubles Yash partnered Senula and they lost both matches in the group to Leon Crayford & Daniel Wykes 21-19 15-21 13-21 and to Lawrence Chen & Aarav Sujith 18-21 15-21.

Senula Sumananasuriya lost one and won one matches in his group, which was disappointing. `Senula lost to William Osaseri 7-21 21-23 and beat Cheng Min Yuan 21-7 21-9.

Jessica Burden had an excellent tournament, winning a SILVER in the GS. In her group she beat Mitali Chauhan 21-9 21-13 and Jessica Randall 21-12 21-9. In the semis Jess played a hard fought match against Emma Yang 21-16 17-21 21-14. In the final Jess played Tranthini Kumaravel. and lost in three sets 14-21 21-12 9-21, the first time in 4 years that Jess managed to get a set off her.

15/16th OCTOBER - DORSET SENIOR BRONZE - Bhavika Mistry had a great tournament, coming away with a BRONZE in the LD. Playing with Alisha Johnson they won 21-17 18-21 21-17 against Eve Chill-out & Rosheen Postlewhite, then played Carys Batiste & Lucie Whiteman 21-14 21-18. In the semis they played Susan Godfrey & Sara Hall and won 21-16 21-18. In the final it was a really close hard fought match which they just lost against Emily Jane Easton & Elissa Seddon 18-21 22-20 12-21. In the Mixed, Bhavika played with Sam Farrow and reached the quarter final stage. In their group they beat the 3/4 seeds Adam Dochniak & Laura Farquhar 16-21 21-16 21-17 and then beat Josh Collins & Lucy Chambers 21-6 21-6. In the quarters they lost 17-21 13-21 to Jack Taylor & Olivia Clark.

15/16th OCTOBER -NORTHUMBERLAND SENIOR SILVER -.Emily Carpenter won a BRONZE in the LS. It was just one group, so played Charlotte Forbes and won 21-19 21-7, Emily Harper lost 15-21 17-21, Alice Parker won 21-15 21-15 and finally lost to Stephanie Rowarth 12-21 14-21.

Tighe Crook played MS and lost both in his group to Matthew Train 21-18 15-21 12-21 and Jamie Pearcy 8-21 11-21.

15/16th OCTOBER - GLOUCESTER U17 GOLD - Senula Sumanasuriya had a great tournament, coming away with a BRONZE in the BS. In his group Senula beat Dhruv Anand 21-10 21-15, then beat the seed Rafael Cresdee 21-19 21-17. In the quarter final Senula beat Charlie Windebank 23-21 21-9. In the semi final Senula lost to Aarav Sujith 10-21 14-21.

Jess Burden had a tough group, losing to top seed Tranthini Kumaravel 16-21 13-21 and Anastasiia Ruban 22-24 17-21 in the Gold GS.

Katie Savage played well, winning her first match against Daisy Ellis 17-21 21-14 21-10 but then losing to Eeva Lunn 6-21 14-21.. Katie also played doubles and mixed and lost both matches in her groups

8/9th OCTOBER - HULL SENIOR BRONZE - Emily Carpenter won GOLD in the LS. In her group she beat Olivia Clark 21-7 21-15, Louise Williams 21-11 21-13, Julia Chmurovicova 21-18 17-21 21-13. In the final Emily won 22-24 21-14 21-19. An excellent result.

8/9th OCTOBER - WARWICKSHIRE U15 BRONZE - Simone Ahite played in this event. Her results were, singles Kwan Kay Crystal Wong 6-21, Nok Yi Chui 12-21, Lauren Tosh 21-16. In the doubles Simone played with Kate Robinson. The results were Casey Luk & Isla Nicolson 15-21, Lucy Parker & Kwan Kay Crystal Wong 9-21, Sherry Liu & Ayesha Narvel 21-12.Simone is improving well in her first year of playing tournaments and only after training seriously for around 12 months.
